Hello! We (the people who started this petition!!) are a group of girls that call ourselves the Baby Nugs. Sounds silly, I know, but we are pretty much best friends. We all go to an online school called “Liberty University Online Academy.” We have nothing but love for our school, and heavily respect all our advisors and teachers. Us seniors in the group graduate in May and we are all excited to meet up (some of us have never seen each other in person!!) and get to enjoy this beautiful experience that would normally be denied to us since we are “homeschooled” in a sense. Our friend, and OG member of Baby Nugs, Julia, is a “Part Time Student” due to all her classes being dual credits except for one. While she was told she could walk at graduation originally, she was just informed she cannot, as part time students aren’t allowed to. We are all very upset by this news, and as you can imagine Julia is disappointed too. We understand the reasoning for this but we are petitioning for her to be allowed to walk with us simply because months ago when she signed up for the program she was told she could. We believe you all can help us achieve #JusticeForJulia !!
