Like any other parents that cares for their child's education, I want my rights on parental involvement preserved. The context of the policy do not addressed a sound safety plan, it is clearly develop to ban the parents from the classroom, and make sure that they do not have the opportunity to see the every day routine. I urge any parent to support this petition.

A 24 hr notice does not do anything except allow the teacher to "plan" our arrival, What if there is a problem with the teacher and you as a parent need to do a surprise visit to make sure things are on the up and up. Yet one more FREEDOM this school district has taken away. whats next... force feed them too...?

This is important to any parent. What does the schools have to hide? What will it hurt for a parent to walk his or her child to class? If teachers want parent involvement why is the BoE trying to cut parents out? The questions are not being answered by the Superintendent or any of the BoE. Why put policies in effect if they do not want to comment?

My child has been bullied already this school year, I gave the teachers a chance to handle the situation but they didn't even acknowledge it so I had to take matters into my own hands. It's seems like the school system has something to hide.
