In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis is currently trying to pass a bill that prohibits schools from discussing LGBTQ+ issues and topics. If a child were to come out to a teacher, the teacher would be legally obligated to out the child to their parent of guardian. If this bill were to pass, thousands of children's lives would be ruined. They could be abused, discriminated, or even kicked out of their homes. This bill is not only homophobic, but dangerous.
