Summary: Lgbtq community members of the Nixa Public schools are being opressed by severe prejudice of teachers and principles alike. Not all of the teachers are the problem but we demand to have better equality for the school, and to be able to freely express ourselves in how we wish without opression! We also wish to have better support within the school. 

What's happening: Several friend groups are being forced to put pride flags away because they "do not follow dresscode." When there is nothing in the dresscode about flags. We personally had tested a theory to see if it really was just Against the pride flag, so we had one of our friends bring a confederate flag to school. The confederate flag didn't get dresscoded even once while the pride flag had been dresscoded a total of four times. Another one of the members of my friend group personally had theirs taken away just for having it. Makeup and Facepaint ressembling pride has also asked to be taken off even though other types of makeup are allowed. One of our very own school principles had threatened to kick a student out of summer school for doing some of the follow things.
