Keep the ban of walking More than 4 dogs in place

Certain councillors at South Ribble Council want to stop the ban on walking more than 4 dogs in public spaces , the current law dictates that you cannot walk More than. 4 dogs at once . At Leyland Warriors rugby club we are constantly clearing up the mess of dogs mostly from multiple dogs being allowed to roam free on training areas and pitches . This is unhealthy and a horrible thing to be clearing up but we do it because we have a duty of care to Hundreds of children some as young as 4 yrs old training and playing at our grounds . We would like the ban to remain in place and would even go further in all dogs should be kept on a lead whilst in the vicinity of the club and its pitches . Some children are frightened of dogs which are allowed to roam onto pitches during training and games .
