Hello all, I’m a new home and dog owner in the Tate’s Creek area of Lexington, KY. We have a beautiful local park (Kirklevington park) with ample unused space for a dog park. This petition is to share my interest to Parks and Recreation to build a park and in turn create a beautiful place for dogs and dog parents alike to visit and play. The area has multiple apartments and townhomes full of dogs that want a place to run and play together instead of being tethered to leashes.

Our K-9 companions need space to socialize and get rid of pent up energy. Studies show that socialization with other dogs can help prevent behavioral problems at home and will improve the overall health for your pet. It also creates a welcoming area for elderly and disabled pet owners a safe place for their pet to play. 

Help me with my efforts please and sign my petition to bring a dog park to this area and make many puppers happy in the process.
