Students should be allowed to use personal computers in classrooms

Many students purchased a laptop at the beginning of or during Freshamn year, meant to be used throughout high school. These laptops sometimes costed upwards of $1000. However, with the new Chromebook policy, students will not be able to use their personal laptops in the classroom. This renders the main purpose many student’s laptops useless, as they were purchased for use in school. Many students now feel as if the purchase of a laptop was a waste of money, and that they should be able to use their laptops in the classroom. If enough people sign this petition, the LHS administration can see many people care about this issue, and something can be done.
