Lee Dixon started this petition to Lewisham Council and

Flytipping in the SE6 area, particularly in Bellingham, has seen an increase in recent years. These occur mostly in spaces that are not overlooked by houses, such as street corners and infront of grassland.

A good idea to prevent flytipping would be to improve the appearance of the area in the first place. Replacing wooden/concrete bollards, with more attractive  raised flower beds /planters is a simple but great way of doing this.

This petition is to install the a raised bed on Athelney street, SE6, where flytipping frequently occurs. If successful, we will aim to roll out this idea to more flytipping hotspots in Bellingham.

We need to apply pressure on Lewisham Council and Phoenix Community Housing to implement this idea. By signing this petition, you are helping to support this cause and hopefully reduce the flytipping in the area.
