Treasure hunters should keep their treasure!

Every winter St. Paul MN has a treasure hunt that's open to the public. They release 12 clues, one every night for 12 nights in the Pioneer Press.

These are not easy clues, you must research and learn the history and topography of public areas of Ramsey county. You must locate the public area and find the acrilic medallion (puck) hidden in that area.

This task is very time consuming and difficult. If you are smart enough, and lucky enough you could win up to $10,000. Which is an awesome prize. However, you are not allowed to keep the acrilic medallion. Which I feel is rediculous. Every treasure hunter should be allowed to keep the treasure they find.

This year a man by the name of Rob found the medallion for his third time, which is a record, so for this year only they allowed him to keep the medallion. But I'm asking that from this year on, whoever finds the medallion should be allowed to keep the treasure they find.

This is a family affair, I often see families with children searching for the medallion, my family included. Children don't much care about the money, but really want this little acrilic treasure for a keepsake.

Please sign this petition, so hopefully, every Treasure Hunter can keep the treasure they find.
