UAB's Rec climbing wall is a great place for new climbers to get introduced to the sport. However, once this first milestone is achieved and the climber becomes more immersed in the sport one glaring issue with our climbing wall becomes apparent. We have no place to train. Climbing the same routes over and over becomes boring, and also the UAB wall does not provide any room for growth. That is where the Moon Board comes in. The Moon Board offers more variety than we could ever have on the wall, with over 45,000 registered problems.
