I believe the money can be better spend on a project supported by the public. Last time I heard city's and provincial budgets needed tightening. This seems irresponsible to spend so much on something no one is in favor of.

If one can walk 3km (6km round trip) with those incline changes, One can walk on a trail.... It would destroy Lethbridge’s most natural and beautiful coulee trails. Says the physiotherapist.

It is not beneficial to the economy or safety of the users as well as the ecological issues that would come from implementing this pathway. City is trying to lower taxes and this is not helping to the cause.

This area is enjoyed by many in its natural state and should not be developed

Born and raised in lethbridge and i know Six Mile relatively well, there is no need for this pathway and that is an EGREGIOUS amount to spend on it. Keep it to hiking and dirt pathways on the south end of the country club, that preserves both the animal habitats that would all but guarantee be disrupted, uprooted or even destroyed, but also would maintain the aspect of being further "in" nature while close to amenties. People go down into the coulees to escape being 'in the city' temporarily. Definitely look into the sustainable bridges, thats the only thing that area needs. And that should cost less than a third of the current budget.

Doing this would be ridiculous, why the hell would you even do this to your riders?

This pathway is the most important and most fun trail for novice MTB riders like me. The entire 6-mile area is a huge reason why Lethbridge is a great place to live. The existing users all get along and use this park extensively. There is no need to change it - just improve the access by linking to areas by the CC downstream and be done.

This is beautiful, well maintained, and cared for as it is now. There are more pressing infrastructure issues and agencies in our city that need to be supported more than this. The sets of stairs in Lethbridge are effective and fulfill the need of those who use them already. Please leave this area as it is because it is a GEM in this city!!
