My 92 year old , frail , sick , deaf mum was admitted to A&E , I was told I was not allowed to stay with her , asides from the fact she was scared , she is deaf in one ear and partial hearing in the other , and would not hear the doctors properly,  she does not understand medical stuff and like lots of you I go to all medical appointments so I can tell doctor her history and explain to her what is being said,  you can't get through on phone as understandably the phones are so busy,  so this is putting more pressure on staff , we are supposed to be getting back to Normal after covid so let's get the hospitals back to normal to " let us stay in A&E with our sick and elderly relatives "
