My Nan who is 89 was admitted to hospital on Sunday 29th November and has been on her own ever since. We have since learnt she has pneumonia and a bleed in her stomach.We have been advised she is very poorly.

Our only point of contact is telephone, on one occasion we were waiting on hold for 25 minutes to get a update on her condition. Another time we got through to be chastised for 2 family members ringing!  
I am asking for family members to be able to go into hospital’s to be with and comfort there sick relatives. 
Hands,Face and Space to be adhered to at all times. Following any government guidelines and the tier you are currently living in. 

Please help me, it could well be to late for my Nan to see any of her loved ones, but knowing how we feel so utterly useless as a family it breaks my heart to think there are many many people in the same situation . It needs to change as Covid is not getting any better.

After a long 16 hours we are still waiting for a update. I fully appreciate the pressure of the Nurses, Doctors and anybody working in this sector.
