The Georgia Southern Statesboro RAC has raised one goal on each basketball court, keeping students from playing full court. For student athletes, past and present, this is unfair and unnecessary. We already pay money to the schools and fees to the gym that should allow us to use all facilities possible, whether it be in the weight room, the pickle ball courts, or the basketball courts. Full court basketball gives us an escape from the stresses of class, work, relationships, etc. but by taking it away, they are taking away our freedom to play the game so many of us love. A great source of exercise, friendship, and challenge, basketball allows us to be more than we are, but that is being wrongfully held from us. We want to be able to use the entire court, not just one hoop, but the entire court! LET US PLAY!
