With covid this year, we’ve had a lot of obstacles, but we’ve made it past it. We’ve made it a long time without masks now, and our numbers haven’t spiked in a long time. many of us eighth graders would really enjoy having a school dance this year, and i’m trying to collect as many signatures as i can of people who support the idea. I am in student council, and I have brought this event idea up, but it unfortunately got turned by our teachers due to covid. I honestly believe that we deserve this. The sports teams have met almost all year, many large group school activities have gone on, and the whole eighth grade is going to DC. And this has all been without masks for a long time. A school dance just for the eighth graders would be a fun and deserved experience for all of us at the end of the year, and a great celebration before high school. I will end up sending this petition to Mr Caragher if it gets enough signatures. Thanks again for your support!
