Vineland High School is not allowing students (myself and my peers) to bring in metal water bottles or hot thermoses to school. They claim they are setting off the metal detectors which doesn’t make sense because we aren’t walking through with our belongings. It is important for students, especially those who have extra curriculars after school and those who have no lunch period, to have a cold drink to get them through the day. Plastic bottles and containers do not keep food and drinks cold. This rule is pretty ridiculous and unfair. Please sign this petition to allow students to carry their metal water bottles and hot thermoses!
