Many people from around Australia have been waiting to attend splendour in the grass since 2020. Due to alcohol safety reasons NSW police have enforced a new rule only two weeks before this event stating that all ticket holders under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at ALL TIMES. I speak for many when i say this is joke! The money us under 18 year olds have spent on accomodation, flights and the tickets is not cheap nor refundable. Not everyone has planned to be accompanied for by a “responsible adult” and therefore under 18’s buying another ticket for someone to be a chaperone for them is just not possible at this late stage. I speak for locals in the area when i say that this year has been extremely tough on our communities due to the multiple floods, people have lost family, friends, houses and so much more, we have all been waiting to attend splendour since 2020 and due to many cancellations of the event we were all so excited and keen for Splendour 2022. My goal is for all ticket holders to be able to attend splendour in the grass as normal and i want justice for under 18’s !!!
