According to the latest announcement made by Matriculation Division with ref. number KPM. 100-1/7/8 Jld 2 (48) , 7 May 2022, SES semester II students are instructed to enter the college after midsem break for face to face classes & examination. However, the decision made by KPM is so abrupt & inconsiderate as we were instructed to empty our dorm before midsem break & went back home. Hence, making it inconvenient for students to go back into campus

Here's why we find it inconvenient & inconsiderate: 

1) The cost of transportations has doubled as students have to go back & forth from college so many times especially for students who live far from campus (i.e. East Malaysia and East Coast of Malaysia) In addition, students have to bear the cost for rapid test kit (RTK) on their own, making it burdensome to proverty-stricken students. 

2) The internet coverage in most of Matriculation campus cannot support PdPr. Most students are forced to use their own hotspot/ mobile data to enter online classes & the coverage are not stable. They also may not be able to join PdPr during quarantine as only few places provide stable wifi connection such as library & cafeteria. 

3) SES semester II students only have few more weeks to finish their 2nd semester. It's a hassle for students to pack all their belongings just to stay in campus for just few more weeks. Additionally, the CGPA for both 1st and 2nd semester were not taken into consideration when students are applying for their degree in IPTA & IPTS. Thus, making it more irrelevant to force SES semester II students back into campus just to sit for their examinations. 

We hope that the Director of Matriculation Division will take our message into consideration.
