A letter to the UC system and to my fellow classmates…

The University of California system has a history of unjust practices and has handled the Covid-19 pandemic in a coinciding manner. Since 2019, when the Covid-19 began, the UC system has unsuccessfully been able to produce a legitimate and rightful education for its students. The UC system has scammed thousands of students and parents by using remote instruction as an adequate substitute for in-person instruction. People are being charged an unlawful amount of money for an insufficient and disappointing mode of education. The UC will use whatever means necessary to appropriate money from students, who then go on to live the rest of their lives with never-ending student debt. The UC system needs to be questioned and explored deeper in order to give students the education they deserve. As a student myself, I can say that all we want is to be in a classroom and we deserve financial compensation if our educational needs are not being met. 

I am a student at UC Santa Cruz and I will be sharing facts, misconceptions and personal insight from UCSC students about the impacts of remote learning and why it needs to end...
