Create a term to refer to women that doesn't include a male term.

I, as a 14-year old young woman, have recently noticed that there are no words to refer to a woman without needing to reference men. She, her, hers, woman, and female are some of the words we use on an everyday basis. There are no words to reference a woman that aren't some modification of a male word. One could say that the word girl isn't based off a male word, but that term does not refer to women in professional positions and is therefore not appropriate as a universal word to refer to the female gender. This lack of an independent word is a fundamental issue as it expresses that women are not independent of men, but are instead some form of them. My goal is to achieve a similar impact to the Ms. movement of the late 20th century. I believe that together, we can change society by changing these words.

When writing this, asked me to include a decision maker or someone who can put this into action. But that person is each you reading this now. That person is society. So please, let's work together for change.
