On 6th February 2022, Her Majesty the Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.  This marks 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

Many of you will be aware of the Beacon in Elmdon Park, which is situated not far from Elmdon Church.

Solihull Council, plans to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, by burning the beacon on the 2 June.

Let's rename the Beacon at this ceremony and call it -

THE QUEEN ELIZABETH II PLATINUM JUBILEE BEACON

It is an honour to be living during her iconic reign and this would be a very fitting tribute, to her dedication and unrelenting service and vigour in which she fulfils her duties.
