Women are those who are held responsible for unwanted births, yet birth control is harder and harder to get, and abortions are quickly becoming a health issue that is no longer legal and safe.  But without sperm, these unwanted births would NEVER HAPPEN.  So who should take control and ensure that unwanted births are minimized? Men!

The quickest, easiest and MOST EFFECTIVE method of controlling unwanted births is to stop sperm from reaching a woman's egg. How to do this?  Mandatory vasectomies!  Upon reaching puberty (age 14-18) every young man should have a mandatory vasectomy.  Upon deciding he wants to be a father, he can apply to reverse this procedure.  Up to 15 years after a vasectomy, sperm returns to your ejaculate up to 95% of the time!  

The vasectomy procedure is common, reversible and OUT-PATIENT, taking no more than 30 minutes to complete.  Recovery time is a week.  

When the male decides he is ready to be a father, he can apply to have a vasectomy reversal. A vasectomy reversal is a relatively safe procedure with a low risk of complications or side effects. Most people return home the same day of the procedure.  This procedure is 3-4 hours, again out-patient.  Recovery time?  5-14 days.   These time frames are minimal when compared to the recovery time from a full-term pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, or miscarriage!  All of these situations require hospitalization and medical care for women extending beyond one day.
