Google's investing big money into a massive offshore wind energy super-highway. We have a ton of offshore wind potential in the U.S., and apparently Google thinks it's time to take advantage of that potential.

11 East Coast states could get much more energy from offshore wind than they need. And there's several times more wind energy potential than oil and gas potential off the East Coast of the U.S.

Google hasn't missed these recent findings, and it isn't missing an opportunity to invest in offshore wind as a result.

Isn't it time for the U.S. government to invest more in tapping this massive wind energy potential?
