My 22 year old daughter Name Tynaz (Tyni) was shot and killed on October 17th 2020. She was a junior in college, inspiring to become a kindergarten teacher. She also had plans on traveling the world. All of her dreams and admirations came to an end when she decided to go on a double date with some of her peers. The night was fun and safe until they needed gas and ended up on Chicago Ave and Hamlin at the gas station. Gun shots started and my baby did the best that she could to get down and out of the way but was still struck by several bullets. I’ve seen and heard of many many stories were more young people have lost their lives at this same location and it’s time to put a stop to it. It seems as if that gas station is a target place for these killers and their victims. If I have a say so I would turn that gas station into a peaceful garden or youth facility. Let’s all stop the violence at this location, We all have to start somewhere! Thank you guys in advance for all of your help.
