We're for No Change and No Increased Traffic for Historic Edwards Park in Old Village and Old Mt. Pleasant.
Edwards Park is situated between Royall Avenue and historic Pitt Street in the Old Village. It is officially named “James B. Edwards Passive Park” and is home to the historic Patjens Post Office.
This passive park was designed with the intention of low-intensity recreation, open space and benches for viewing and enjoying the natural habitat. Let’s not change what is already great in our wonderful community. Please sign to oppose changing the park to a “dog” park or any change involving fencing off the park or portions of it. We love dogs and cats too, but we also love keeping our beautiful space welcome and open to everyone including the elderly and families with children.
We'll be submitting this petition to the Mayor and Town Council - thanks for your support!
