NSLA (Norton, Science & Language Academy) has had changes this school year that have affected our school and our students. The students now no longer have structure or discipline. The previous rules, guidelines, and discipline handled by Ms. Foster had created a safe environment for our children and students. The constant fights, pictures in the bathrooms, and smells in the hallways have created great insecurity for our children at NSLA. Just as the lack of consequences for the indiscipline have been very ineffective. When we made the decision to take our children to NSLA, it was because we knew that NSLA was safe and had high standards of behavior and education. The lack of staff has also created a huge problem in ensuring the safety of our students. As parents, we DEMAND that the Lewis Center improve conditions at NSLA, the lack of staff and discipline need to improve to ensure the safety of our children. Because as the school grew, the responsibilities with the students and parents grew, the Lewis Center has the duty to provide the administrators with the economic and human tools so that the safety and well-being of our children can be guaranteed.

NSLA (Norton, Science & Language Academy) ha tenido cambios en este año escolar que han afectado nuestra escuela y nuestros estudiantes. Los estudiantes ahora ya no tienen reglas ni disciplina. Las reglas anteriores, los lineamientos y la disciplina que se manejaba con Ms. Foster, habían creado un ambiente seguro para nuestros hijos y estudiantes. Las peleas constantes, las fotografías en los baños y los olores en los pasillos han creado una gran inseguridad para nuestros hijos en NSLA. Así como las consecuencias a la indisciplina han sido muy poco efectivas. Cuando tomamos la decisión de llevar a nuestros hijos a NSLA, fue porque sabíamos que NSLA era segura y tenia estándares altos, de conducta como educativos.  La falta de personal también ha creado un gran problema para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes. Como padres, exigimos al Lewis Center que mejore las condiciones de NSLA por la falta de personal y de disciplina para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros hijos. Porque al crecer la escuela, crecieron las responsabilidades con los estudiantes y los padres, el Lewis Center tiene que proveer a los administrativos las herramientas económicas y humanas para que se pueda garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros hijos.
