"The Gunk" is the lovable, nasty little pond on the SUNY New Paltz campus. Large amounts of bacteria, algae, and trash are polluting the homes of our adorable little animals. The fish are swimming away and dying off. The turtles are in danger. The ducks are swimming in filth just trying to find some food. (Not to mention it's an eyesore to an otherwise beautiful campus)

I'm hoping that by spreading this petition around, more people will become invested and further action can be taken.

Let's clean the gunk.
