This issue is impacting our community because we have gotten accustomed to seeing homeless people in almost every street. As well as due to stereotypes of reasons as to why they are in the streets such as drug use, alcohol abuse, and other circumstances involving that, we fear for our safety thinking they are going to do something to us.The issue of homelessness should not be a normal thing. We need to have empathy for others and it should be a right that everyone should have a place to stay. Where is our humanity, what if that was you and no one acknowledged it?This petition will bring awareness to Homelessness in California in order for us to write a letter to Congress to demand change.
