Robeson county schools are having a hard time getting 3 day weekends due to the covid-19 outbreak. The kids are being forced to stay home for 5 days straight and it’s not fair because they have tests and projects due. We should be able to get 3 day weekends so that we can keep our grades up, do our work, and make sure we don’t fall behind in school.

The kids are stressed out about this whole situation because they have things going on at home that they need to help with like cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping etc. The kids also have things going on outside of school like sports practices and games which they can’t participate in if we still have 2 more weeks left of school. Also the kids want to spend time with their family but instead they are stuck inside doing nothing but stressing out about their grades or what is happening at home while their parents work hard every single day just trying to make ends meet just so the government can come take all of our rights away from us even though we haven’t done anything wrong!

I think that if you sign this petition it will show how much stress these kids are under right now by having us stay in for 5 days straight without a break or any type of weekend! I hope you guys understand where I am coming from here with this whole situation because I am one of those students who has things going on outside
