The department of education in tasmania  has decided to not let parents/guardians/caregivers the opportunity to spectate their children at their school sport carnivals. This may only be for this term as they haven't given a timeframe for how long this may go on for. But for the moment we can not. This is not fair on us parents nor is it fair on our children. We are able to go and drop and pick our children up and as of today the 8th of March we don't even need to wear a mask outside in school grounds.

But we can't be at a school event which is outside where we can be spread out more and even be away from the school children ��‍♀️ this doesn't make sense. These are memories that we will never get back. We've done everything that has been asked of us. Now it's time for them to listen to what we actually want. We want to be apart of sharing these memories even if we have to mask up or check in to prevent the spread of covid we will do this. Please give us our rights back and let us support our children.
