Minnesota is excluding veterinarians and their clinic staff from Frontline Worker pay. They are excluded due to being categorized under “food and agriculture”. This petition is for veterinary staff to be included in Frontline pay due to the necessity of their work and the work risk during the covid 19 pandemic. 
Even if your local clinic was not allowing people inside, there were still many clinics that did not have the option to go fully curbside. And we must keep in mind the vet staff that take public transportation to help take care of our pets. 
They worked hard to keep our pets happy and healthy through the entirety of the pandemic despite the health risk; the least the state can do is recognize this through Frontline Worker compensation.
