I'm getting removed from my home base and my support system. My manager has announced that I am to be removed from the office I have worked in since I was first brought on and moved into another one. I must note that this new office will not hold the colleagues that I have worked with from the beginning. There are so many memories and experiences to be had that will be LOST when I leave. As a tenured employee that has been recently promoted, I feel as if I deserve to remain in the same office with my coworkers that brighten my life and encourage me to be the best I can be every day. Some might feel as if keeping us together hinders our performance but I argue that it does just the opposite. We are our best when we are together.
