Ever since Longwood Spider-Man first came on campus, he has done nothing but make people genuinely happy, no matter the negative things that were said about him. His goal was to make others happy and to spread joy to others. He wanted to make a difference and he clearly did. So many longwood students including myself felt genuinely happy whenever we saw him. Little kids who visited campus also loved seeing him. Recently he was trying to raise money for the children’s hospital before recently getting shut down by the police. Now the future of longwood Spider-Man is in question. Many students including myself believe he should be allowed to continue what he is doing. Longwood spider-man truly brought something special to campus. It should also be said that Longwood University themselves supported him by promoting him. Something should be worked out by the police/the higher ups so Longwood Spider-Man can continue to make people happy and make a difference.
