The Supreme Court of the United States over turned Roe v Wade. On the following Monday, I tried to make an appointment to meet with my district’s congressional representative. I still have not been able to speak to her nor will the office give the schedule information. I reached out to the other Congressional representative’s but they said I should speak to my district’s representative out of respect. I also reached out to the state senators. I have yet to speak to anyone who represents me and my community in congress nor senate. 

We have protested, marched and spoken. We’ve collected stories anonymously. I have even written a bill to take to congress. 

The Peoples Bill of 2022 is written as an echo to the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights. There are no additional right granted beyond that. However, the Peoples Bill of 2022 expands on the UN’s Human Rights as they pertain to the United States and the people with in its borders. 

We are starting this petition to show how many people within the borders of the US and its territories are in favor of this bill reaching congress and then the senate.
