Class of 2023 are seniors this year and there are a lot of fun events we’re looking forward to in the near future, the biggest of those events being graduation. Our generation is one of the most fun and creative to exist and I think we should be allowed to express that creativity. D214 students are prohibited from decorating their graduation caps even though they’ll be keeping them after graduation. There are definitely reasonable concerns as to why it isn’t allowed but we as a class and community can show we know better and so I, a student at Wheeling High School am making this petition for D214 students to sign in support of decorating graduation caps, not only will this be an awesome opportunity for 2023 seniors, it would mean further years of seniors after us will be able to the same!!
