Lago vista high school is putting a specific student in ISS for wearing a durag at school. While this is against dress code as specified as head coverings (unless religious) but has no problem with female students wearing bandanas as a fashion piece. This is an extreme double standard and we believe that they are taking it too far in the case of the durag and no action in terms of the bandanas. We are petitioning to get this student out of ISS for such a minor infraction.
