Bruce Yu has contributed enormously to YRDSB as a Student Trustee in the 2021-2022 school year. He has attended over 100 meetings in 2021 alone, advocated for fair grading standards, provided essential information on COVID protocols and return to school protocols, and most importantly, he has fought for a Mark Freeze for YRDSB students. 

Unfortunately, Bruce will not be allowed to run again for Student Trustee in 2022. This decision was made by not only the York Region President's Council, but also other staff in the YRDSB.
