Effingham County High School only chooses now to enforce dress code. The piercing rule they’ve been enforcing for a while even though it is so outdated. They claim that they want us to express ourselves but don’t let us. They don’t care about their students expressing themselves at all. If they did they would get rid of this stupid uniform and strict dress code. I’ve had my hair red for over a year, but today on the 5th day of school they send me to ISS tell me to change it by tomorrow. This is ridiculous. We can’t have piercings, we can’t have any hair color that isn’t black, brown, blonde, or ginger, we can’t have on a certain type of pants or shirts. We can’t wear anything that allows us to express ourselves. We only can wear what expresses our school bc all they care abt is their image and their shitty little paychecks they get. I’m over it and so are many other students. So I will take this petition to the board to fix this if this gets enough signatures❤️
