As plastic stays on earth for for hundreds of years it is better for the environment to use paper or card wrapping for food. Many products have unnecessary single use plastic wrapping, this is bad for the environment and many animals can be injured in their habitats from plastic and waste. With more biodegradable packaging the world will have less single use waste.
