We the undersigned, request a formal inquiry (both in-house and independently) into the collegiate recruiting process for the Seven Lakes High School (SLHS) Varsity Football Program.

We the undersigned, believe that as a member of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Texas. the collegiate recruiting process in the SLHS Varsity Football Program has systemically, without accountability, been overly deficient, biased, underdeveloped, and unstructured for a high caliber 6A Division High School in Katy ISD.

We the undersigned, believe that preferential treatment was part of the collegiate recruiting process in the SLHS Varsity Football Program. Therefore, negatively impacting recruits’ collegiate prospects, the morale of current and future recruits; which has caused some families to move from SLHS to other high schools within or outside of Katy ISD with a better college recruitment strategy.

We the undersigned, request at the conclusion of the inquiry, for corrective action of any person Administrator(s), Teacher(s) or Coach(es) found to impede, falsify or hold prejudice with the recruitment and/or marketing of any NCAA eligible recruits in the SLHS Varsity Football Program.

We the undersigned, also request the implementation of a formal collegiate recruitment process for the SLHS Varsity Football Program for all athletes which includes a parent and student education component.
