Petition update

Victory! LeSEA footage preserved and may see future release.

Jul 5, 2017 — I’d like to officially declare the LeSEA Broadcasting petition a victory! LeSEA’s tapes have been digitized and portions of footage from them will be shown publicly this September. (details to be announced.)

This has been an incredibly humbling experience for me as I’ve been on almost a year long journey trying to make sure this footage is preserved at the very least, and possibly bits made available to the public. That being said, the footage is LeSEA’s material and I have tremendous respect for how they go about sharing it with the world. I’d like to thank them again for letting me visit their studio in South Bend to view the footage. I will continue to be in touch with them for the foreseeable future. Over the past two months the petition has gathered 228 signatures and hundreds of more views and shares. Special thanks to Ragamuffin Archive and Between the Songs Podcast for all their continuous support. Thank you all, this couldn’t have happened without you! –Andrew
