Petition Summary:  This petition is in response to the proposed development of the Owen Property, 83 acres in Gibsonville.  Proposed Rezoning from AG to RS-9 and RS-12.

Action Petitioned:  We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to deny the rezoning of the Owen Property.  We protest the rezoning of the Owen Property to any category less than RS-15.

  • RS-9 and RS12 adjoining RS-15 properties. Land Use Plan? Spot Zoning?
  • Very Limited RS-9 in Gibsonville.  Subdivisions Carson Farms East, Walnut Crossing, Huffines Street near Railroad Crossing.

  • Housing Types.  House Plans? Cost? Appraised Values? Photos?
  • Restrictive Covenants.  Are they made available to the public? Do they protect all property owners including adjacent owners? Is there a HOA?
