Up the FPS/joule for airsoft in ireland

  • Airsoft is a hobby in which you fire plastic pellets at other people for fun. Airsoft is played at "fields" which enforce the wearing of the proper safety equipment while playing. These pellets are harmless, provided you wear the proper safety equipment. Airsoft guns are already legal in Ireland, however the power of the gun is limited to 1 joule. I believe this is too low and ask for it to be changed to 1.7 Joules. I believe this would make the hobby more fun to play as people could fire pellets further with the extra power, the pellets would sill be harmless though.

I believe there is no reason for this limit and would help Airsoft suppliers, field and players.

also children are obligate to wear full face protection so this Will not hurt them if you are concerned
