On December 15, 2012, my friend Samuel Walter, and his friend Danielle Townes were in a car accident that claimed their lives. They collided with another car with Richard Lake and Amber Glisson, who is now in serious condition. There have been several complaints about the curve that they collided on, and other accidents as well. This curve is located on East Valley Road in Tecumseh, MI.  Sam and Danielle were pronounced dead on the scene. Danielle was a mother of a little boy, and Sam was a father of two, one just born a few weeks ago. The City of Adrian should have taken care of this curve when complaints started to be made. Amber's back was broken in 9 different places, she had a hole in her bowels, resulting in surgery, a disk in her back was broken, her knee was broken, and her shoulder was cracked. Richard had both of his knees broken. Lives were taken and others were permanently changed because simply because of carelessness and poor construction of this road. The City of Adrian failed to save my friends by not responding to these complaints and taking action. These injuries and deaths could have been avoided. The road should be redone in a way that if you are not familiar with the road, the angle isn't going to pose as a safety hazard. Please sign this petition to help me keep my friends memories alive and to give Amber and Richard a little peace at mind that their situation isn't being looked over and ignored. Please help to save a few more lives from these same fates. Please sign this petition. Thank you.
