My nephew was run over outside school on Wednesday 29th January 2020 the road in which he was knocked over is a very busy dangerous road outside a junior school and before Christmas there was school crossing patrol available but they have not been replaced since then and has become so dangerous for children, cars and even buses that go along this road.

Buswells Lodge primary school have been trying to replace them for 3 weeks now and still had no luck.

This needs to be sorted ASAP. 

My nephew is currently in a cast after breaking his leg when being knocked over and is missing out on crucial time at school. 

The Leicester City Council need to sort this problem out as soon as possible before another child is hit and injured or even worse. 

The school have tried their best to get this sorted but I think this now needs to be taken further and for parents/guardians to stand up and protect our children.

This road has buses cars vans all up and down the road and young children crossing after going to or finishing school each day and they need that little bit more protection from this terrible ordeal that my nephew has had to suffer. As well as his friends who witnessed this incident as at such a young age this can be very traumatic.
