Due to multiple social media accounts some students in Lehighton high school have been experiencing repercussions although innocent. Because of the recent activity students have experienced consequences such as getting their phone taken in classes unprovoked, and shutting off VPNS remotely, so no communication or internet is possible. This isn’t right, firstly because phones are personal property, secondly I speak for the whole student body in saying during an emergency ( or just needing a ride home) I would like to be able to contact my family while on the property. Phones are also helpful when doing academics as a lot of classes are paperless now and most work is completed online. This isn’t right.
