William Kroger started this petition to Legistive Councils

Over many years the disability community has been left out to enjoy the nightlife and festival scene, due to there are certain clauses within the laws that allow venue owners or organization creators or 3rd party providers such as security guards to use the board legal clauses to judge a person with a disability to have the refusal of entry.

Yes, they all need to take into account venue or organization risk assessment to ensure that everyone is safe, however, it has been shown that people with disability influence people around them to be more critically thoughtfully for their account outcome on their negative behavior. End of the day we people that want to enjoy the same equal experience and engage with our peers or meet the icons that inspire us to go creative in a musical way.

I'm calling for the Queensland Government to give all laws including the liquor laws and regulations a full amendment renewal to stamp out disability discrimination and provide better service and bodies collaborate with Arts and Disability Organisation. Furthermore, set up a disability liaison to work with creators and the government and Councils.

This move has been supported by Micheal Beckham letter to MP's from the Greens MP for Queensland.
