Plastic bags are not addictive like alcohol or tobacco, they are very cheap and easy to get and forget "everywhere", yet the damage that they are causing is far worse.

I propose a simple solution:

Set heavy tax on plastic bags like alcohol or tobacco.

Why?:

By implementing taxation of the plastic bags, people will not easily forget them at home, or purchase a new one every time they do shopping. 

 This will make people think (educationally) and contribute towards better future!!! 

The government will have more tax money for the environment.

It's a win, win situation for everyone :)
