Laws that govern Workers Compensation within each state brings more harm to legitimately injured workers. The Claims Management Services provided by Sedgwick CMS and other 3rd Party Administrators and Workers Comp Insurance companies particularly need to be investigated for the harm they inflict on legitimately injured workers. Sedgwick and others use tactics, schemes, and sneaky tricks that need to be exposed and challenged. For example, Independent Medical Exams (IMEs) are biased and used against the Injured Worker. There is an excess of conflict of interest between the 3rd Party Administrators such as Sedgwick CMS and the Employers who pay for their services. In essence, the 3rd Party Administrators are more interested in keeping their Customer (the Employer) happy by keeping Workers Compensation costs low. All this is done at the expense of the Injured Worker. More, it is time to rewrite the Laws that govern Workers Compensation so they are the same in all states and to be more fair for an injured worker. At the same time, rewrite the Workers Compensation Laws to bring a tougher penalty to those who file fraudulent claims. In other words, take care of the honest and legitimately injured worker.
