I am a mother who has been a target for CPS. They came into my life in March of 2021 with alligations and concerns about my home. The story is more complicated than it should be but to sum it all down they came in did not follow policy nor the law. They falsified my statements and illegally searched my home. I fired two court appointed attorneys when they refused to show me the evidence they just kept repeating they have enough on me. I took 8 months of the time they had my kids and gathered every document and evidence supporting my innocence. I continued as pro se and got the evidence they had on me including the notes that cps doesn’t present in the article 10. The summer notes were loaded with lies that I proved wrong and the statement they stated I said enabled them to place the children with the abusive father because I apparently said I wasn’t concerned with them being with him however when I set a safety plan up they recommended the father and I said absolutely not and placed them with my brother who lived in a different school district. So if I wasn’t worried why would I have placed them with my brother? Sadly that is only the beginning! Cps has to much control and the ability to falsify your own statement to get what they want. They never spoke with any collateral contacts. They only spoke to me out of the household when there was two other adults in the home! When it came to the safety plan because of the concerns with the home they only placed my kids in the safety plan but didn’t place the two other children that resided in the home in the safety plan. I was in the middle of repairing my home however they put in the notes that they suggested I make the repairs however I had receipts dating back to 2020 of repairs being made. I told them I had one physical altercation with the father that is why he moved out six months prior to the investigation however, they noted I said he hit me on several occasions in front of the kids, how he allegedly pushed the kids down, and at one time he had a bat! None of that happened but they hit me with domestic Violence as a claim. Not once did they tell me they had an alligation for domestic violence among other alligations I was not aware of. They then had my current boyfriend in the report for alligations but never questioned him! They stated how I abuse marijuana and how it effects my ability to tend to my kids which I have a medical marijuana card and a statement from my own councilor. They stated my home was deplorable with feces all over which was a lie. They stated my animals were malnourished however a police officer came to my home to asses the animals and said they look amazing and asked me if I wanted to keep them I said of course! I have all the proof and I am taking them to trial! But enough is enough they have done this to multiple parents! My kids right now are residing next door to the abusive father living in a Mennonite home where they are being forced to go to church and slowly having their traditions taken away from this which is a violation of my parental rights and constitutional rights in regards to religion for my kids! Enough is enough and us parents need to stand up and fight for our kids lives!
